Alpha-1 Scientific Meetings, Conferences and Workshops

Since 1992, the Alpha-1 Foundation, AIR, the National Institutes of Health and the World Health Organization have convened scientific conferences and workshops on Alpha-1. This includes the WHO meeting in 1996 that established the first international standards on diagnosing and treating Alpha-1, as well as Alpha-1 Foundation meetings beginning with the 1st International Scientific Conference in 1999, AIR meetings from 1999-2008, ATS sessions, AASLD sessions and conference and NIH workshops in date and date.
